Frequently Asked Questions

Ajax alarm systems are wireless, smart security systems designed to protect homes, businesses, and other properties. They include a range of devices such as motion detectors, door/window sensors, sirens, and cameras, all controlled via a central hub and managed with a smartphone app.

The Ajax system connects all devices wirelessly to a central hub, which communicates with the app to alert users to any suspicious activity.

If an alarm is triggered, the system sends an instant notification to the user and can be programmed to alert a security company as well.

Yes, the Ajax security alarm system is fully wireless, using advanced Jeweller radio technology to connect devices to the central hub.

This ensures a stable connection with minimal interference and makes installation simpler without the need for extensive wiring.

Absolutely! The Ajax app allows users to monitor and control the system remotely. Through the app, users can arm or disarm the system, view notifications, and receive real-time alerts, all from their smartphone.

Ajax alarm systems work with a variety of security devices, including motion sensors, door and window sensors, smoke detectors, water leak detectors, keypads, sirens, and surveillance cameras.

Ajax alarm systems use advanced encryption and multiple communication channels (GSM, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi) to ensure that data is secure and cannot be intercepted or tampered with.

The system is also tamper-resistant, alerting users to any attempt to disable or interfere with devices.

Yes, Ajax offers pet-friendly motion sensors designed to ignore pets up to a certain weight, making it ideal for households with animals that might otherwise trigger false alarms.

Ajax integrates with some smart home platforms and can be set up with smart home scenarios.

For instance, users can program actions to occur automatically when the system is armed or disarmed.

While Ajax is designed for easy installation, professional installation is recommended for optimal placement and setup, especially for larger properties or complex setups.

Ajax alarm systems use precise motion detectors and sensors with adjustable sensitivity to minimize false alarms and improve detection accuracy.
