Each updated kit offers Western Digital or Seagate storage in 2TB, 4TB or 6TB capacities. More capacity provides more room for retained footage. Actual recording duration depends on camera count, bitrate, frame rate, compression and recording schedule.
Higher-resolution settings can increase storage use. For six-camera or 8MP systems, consider how much footage you need to retain before choosing a drive. Recorder bandwidth and display decoding limits also affect configuration; check the individual kit specifications.
