Expansion, Storage & Choosing the Right 32 Channel NVR

A 32 channel NVR is designed to support up to thirty-two cameras. The number of channels cannot usually be upgraded later, although hard drive storage may be increased if the recorder supports larger compatible drives or multiple drive bays.

  • Plan camera count carefully – If you may need more than thirty-two cameras later, choose a larger recorder or scalable system design.
