A GSM (cellular) communicator connects your alarm panel to the mobile network using a SIM card (or BYO SIM on supported models). When an alarm event occurs—such as an intrusion, tamper, or power failure—the communicator transmits the event to a monitoring centre or sends notifications (system and module dependent).

• 4G / GSM reporting: Uses the mobile network. Great for sites without stable internet or as a backup path.

• Dual-path (IP + 4G): Offers additional redundancy—if one path fails, the other can continue reporting.

For higher security sites and monitored alarms, dual-path reporting can add extra peace of mind (where supported).
