New Hikvision 2-Wire HD Intercom Kits

The DS-KIS707EY and DS-KIS708EY expand the Hikvision intercom range with modern 2-wire HD video intercom solutions. They are particularly useful where a straightforward wired connection between the system components is preferred.

  • DS-KIS707EY – Hikvision 2-Wire 2MP HD Villa Intercom Kit
  • DS-KIS708EY – Hikvision 2-Wire 2MP HD Villa Intercom Kit
  • Power supply components included with the kits
  • Designed as complete Hikvision video intercom solutions
Choosing a system: Before ordering, consider your existing cabling, number of entry points, indoor monitor requirements, smartphone access and whether an electronic door strike or gate release will be connected.

Why Choose a Hikvision Video Intercom Kit?

Hikvision video intercom systems combine visitor identification, two-way communication and access control within one integrated security solution.

  • HD visitor identification – 2MP imaging is available across selected Hikvision villa intercom kits.
  • Video and two-way audio – See and communicate with visitors before allowing entry.
  • 2-wire options – A practical solution for compatible installations and selected retrofit applications.
  • IP intercom options – Network-based systems provide additional flexibility for modern homes and commercial properties.
  • Indoor monitor control – Answer calls, view visitors and operate compatible door release equipment from inside the property.
  • Hik-Connect integration – Compatible systems can provide remote intercom functionality through the Hik-Connect platform.
  • Electronic door and gate release – Integrate compatible access hardware for controlled visitor entry.
  • Expandable options – Selected Hikvision systems support additional monitors and compatible intercom components.
Features vary between models. Check the individual Hikvision intercom kit specifications when smartphone connectivity, additional monitors or particular access-control functions are required.

Hikvision Intercom System Types

Choosing the correct intercom technology is particularly important when replacing an existing system. Existing cable type, network availability and the required features can influence which Hikvision kit is most suitable.

System Type Key Advantages Best For
2-Wire HD Intercom Power and communication through a simplified wired system, depending on the kit configuration. Homes, villas, renovations and selected retrofit installations.
IP Video Intercom Network-based communication with advanced integration and remote connectivity options. New homes, offices and modern commercial installations.
4-Wire Intercom Straightforward traditional wired video intercom configuration. Basic residential entry communication.
Advanced Access Intercom Selected systems offer enhanced identification and access-control functionality. Premium homes, offices and controlled commercial entrances.
Upgrading an older intercom? Do not select a replacement kit based only on the number of existing cable cores. Cable type, condition, distance and the requirements of the new Hikvision system should also be checked.

Hik-Connect, Remote Intercom & Electronic Door Unlocking

Compatible Hikvision video intercom systems can integrate with Hik-Connect, extending intercom functionality beyond the indoor monitor.

  • Visitor calls – Receive supported intercom calls through compatible devices.
  • Live video – View the door station camera through supported systems.
  • Two-way communication – Speak with visitors before providing access.
  • Remote unlocking – Operate compatible electronic locking or gate equipment when correctly configured.
  • Notifications – Selected systems support event and visitor notifications.

Electronic Door Strike & Gate Integration

A video intercom does not physically unlock a standard mechanical door by itself. For electronic access, the intercom must be connected to compatible locking equipment such as an electric door strike or door release device.

Door release equipment should be selected according to the door or gate type, locking method, voltage, power requirements and intercom output.

Compare Hikvision Intercom Kits

The Hikvision intercom collection includes several technologies and kit configurations. The newer DS-KIS707EY and DS-KIS708EY are now important options within the 2-wire HD range.

Model System Camera Key Application

Important: Kit inclusions and functionality differ between Hikvision models. Check the individual product page before ordering if a specific monitor, power supply, mounting accessory, app feature or door-release function is required.
