Best For: Adding 4G cellular alarm communication to an existing compatible Bosch Solution 2000 or Solution 3000 system with a B450-M interface, or replacing an older communicator after an installer compatibility check.
Bosch B444-G Conettix Global LTE Cellular Communicator
The Bosch B444-G is a plug-in cellular module that carries compatible alarm-system communications over a mobile data network. It provides a practical communication path where a suitable fixed internet connection is unavailable, or where the system design requires cellular reporting.
For Solution 2000 and Solution 3000 installations, the B444-G connects through a separately supplied Bosch B450-M communicator interface. The panel, interface, firmware, SIM service and reporting destination must all be configured together.
Before ordering: This listing is for the B444-G cellular module. The B450-M interface and alarm panel are not included. Confirm your panel model, existing interface and firmware with CTC or your security installer before purchase.
Compatibility and Firmware
-
Solution 2000 / 3000: requires a compatible B450-M interface and supported panel and interface firmware.
-
Other Bosch systems: check the current manufacturer compatibility documentation for the exact panel and interface combination.
-
Existing 3G installations: an installer must assess the complete system before replacing a B443 or other older module; a modem swap alone may not complete the upgrade.
Install the appropriate current firmware before fitting the module. Firmware requirements can differ with hardware revision. Refer to Bosch Australia’s Solution 2000/3000 firmware guidance and the B444-G technical service note. Your installer should check for newer releases before performing an upgrade.
SIM, Mobile Coverage and App Setup
A suitable active SIM/data service, adequate mobile coverage and correct communication settings are required. The exact carrier, SIM arrangement and activation process must be confirmed for the Australian stock supplied. A SIM included in a manufacturer pack does not imply an activated service or included ongoing data.
RSC+ access on supported Solution systems requires compatible panel and B450-M firmware, the correct cloud/account configuration and testing. Installing this module does not automatically enable smartphone control. Monitoring-centre reporting also requires compatible receiver settings and a separately arranged monitoring service.
- Confirm the panel, B450-M, firmware and intended reporting or app service.
- Arrange the appropriate SIM/data service and check mobile reception at the property.
- Have the installer fit the module and supplied antennas, then configure the communication path.
- Configure supported app access or monitoring, and test alarm reporting, remote functions and fault notifications before handover.
Data, monitoring, activation and installation charges are excluded unless included in a separate written quote. This product page does not promise voice-call dialling or every notification feature on every panel.
Inclusions and Exclusions
-
Included: one Bosch B444-G cellular module with its supplied antenna accessories.
-
Pack confirmation: the current manufacturer standard pack lists two antennas, a SIM card and documentation. Regional and supplier packs may differ; contact CTC to confirm the antenna quantity, cable length and SIM arrangement for your order.
-
Not included: B450-M interface, alarm panel, enclosure, programming adaptor or cables, active data plan, monitoring subscription and installation labour.

Installation and Support
Professional installation is recommended. Your installer should check the panel’s power budget, enclosure space, antenna positioning, firmware and mobile signal, and verify communication after configuration. Ask CTC about the Solution 2000/3000 Direct Link Adaptor if a panel firmware upgrade is required.
