180° Panoramic Coverage

The 2.8mm fixed panoramic lens provides 182.6° horizontal and 74.6° vertical coverage, with a 4256 × 1888 image. This wide overview suits open frontages, driveways and loading areas.

ColorVu 3.0 and HikAI-ISP

ColorVu 3.0 and F1.0 optics support low-light colour imaging, with HikAI-ISP processing for noise reduction. The 130 dB WDR helps balance bright and shaded areas. Colour footage in complete darkness requires white illumination or another visible light source.

40m Smart Hybrid Light

Choose IR illumination for black-and-white night footage, white light for colour footage, or smart mode for an event-based lighting response. When configured, smart mode can switch from IR to white light around supported human or vehicle detections. Colour footage in complete darkness requires white illumination or another visible light source. Useful image detail depends on target distance and installation. IR and white-light illumination are specified up to 40m.

Human and Vehicle Detection

Human and vehicle classification supports target filtering for motion and perimeter events. Configure line crossing, intrusion, region entrance or region exiting rules to match the monitored area. Filtering helps reduce alerts from unrelated movement, with results depending on positioning, lighting, scene conditions and settings.

Active Deterrence and Audio

The /SL version provides a white flashing warning light and audible alarm. Arrayed dual microphones and a speaker support audio capture and communication through compatible software. One line-level audio input and output and one alarm input and output allow compatible integration. Configure warning triggers and schedules to suit the monitored area.

Panoramic Recording and Hik-Connect

Use a compatible Hikvision network video recorder for central recording and playback. A microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC card up to 512GB provides an on-board recording option. Storage media are sold separately. Hik-Connect supports remote viewing and supported event notifications once internet access and the system are configured. Recording duration depends on bitrate, capacity and schedules. Confirm the recorder supports 4256 × 1888 video and the required panoramic display, bandwidth, audio and event functions.

Outdoor Housing and Power

The metal housing is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, with moderate anti-corrosion protection as classified by Hikvision. Protect cable connections and assess exposed environments. Supply power from IEEE 802.3at Class 4 PoE+, maximum 24W, or a suitable 12V DC supply, maximum 20W. Check per-port support and the total recorder or switch power budget.

Camera Placement

A panoramic overview spreads pixels across a broad scene. Camera height, target distance and obstructions affect useful identification detail. Plan the position carefully and consider additional cameras where closer detail is needed at specific entrances or gates.
