System Sensor 2012/24AUSI Photoelectric Smoke Alarm
The System Sensor 2012/24AUSI is a four-wire photoelectric smoke alarm for compatible extra-low-voltage security, access-control and building systems. It combines local smoke detection with an 85 dB(A) temporal sounder, relay reporting and a 9 V backup battery.
Best For
Replacing or expanding a professionally wired 12/24 V DC alarm system that requires local warning, relay-based panel reporting and compatible smoke-alarm interconnection.
Important: This is not a wireless, battery-only or direct 240 V smoke alarm. It requires a compatible external DC power source and professional wiring. The included 9 V battery provides backup power; it does not replace the hardwired supply.
Compatibility and System Requirements
- Designed for four-wire 12/24 V DC systems; documented operating supply range is 9–30 V DC
- Form C changeover relay provides normally open and normally closed alarm contacts
- Compatible with security or access-control panels that provide suitable power and a relay-input zone
- Up to 24 compatible 2012/24AUSI alarms may be interconnected
- Panel capacity, wiring, placement and regulatory suitability must be confirmed by the installer
