Optical Mirror Detection
The detector’s mirror optics create overlapping volumetric curtains through the protected area. This helps maintain consistent tracking as a person moves across the detection pattern, including movement close to the wall beneath the detector.
Mirror masks allow the installer to tailor the pattern to the room and exclude unsuitable areas where required.

Two-Way 80 Plus Wireless Technology
Two-way communication allows the detector and compatible alarm system to exchange wireless information rather than relying on a one-way transmission. The detector must be enrolled into a supported 80 Plus receiver or compatible control panel before use.
This is a battery-powered wireless detector. It does not require alarm-zone cabling, but it still requires secure mounting, correct programming, signal testing and periodic battery replacement.

Battery Life and Maintenance
The detector is designed to provide up to five years of operation from one battery. Actual battery life varies according to activity levels, signal strength, operating temperature, testing frequency and battery quality.
Replace the battery with the manufacturer-specified type and complete a detector and wireless-signal test after replacement. Low-battery conditions should be attended to promptly.
Installation Guidance
Install the detector indoors with a clear view across the protected area. Avoid positions near heaters, air-conditioning outlets, direct sunlight, moving curtains or other sources that may affect PIR performance.
