The FSH FES20-EL75 Extension Lip is a 75mm accessory designed for compatible FSH FES20 and FES20M high-security electric door strikes. It provides additional coverage between the electric strike faceplate and the outside edge of a deep or wide door frame.
The longer extension helps the door latch clear the surrounding frame and enter the strike keeper without rubbing, catching or damaging the frame. It is particularly useful on timber and aluminium frames with profiles that extend substantially beyond the standard strike faceplate.

Why Use a 75mm Extension Lip?
The standard lip supplied with an FES20 Series electric strike may not provide sufficient coverage on a deep or unusually shaped door frame. Without enough clearance, the door latch can rub against the frame, catch during operation or damage the surrounding surface.
The FES20-EL75 provides a 75mm extension, making it suitable for installations where shorter 15mm, 25mm or 50mm extension lips do not reach beyond the door-frame profile.

Selecting the Correct Extension Length
FSH extension lips are available in different lengths to accommodate various door-frame profiles. Measure the distance between the electric strike faceplate and the outside edge of the frame before ordering.
The FES20-EL75 is intended for installations requiring substantial additional coverage. A shorter 15mm, 25mm or 50mm extension may provide a better fit on shallower frames.
Installation Note
The extension lip should be securely attached to the pre-drilled mounting points on the compatible FES20 or FES20M electric strike. Once installed, the door latch should enter the keeper freely without rubbing, binding or placing sideways pressure on the strike mechanism.
