What is the Hills Reliance XR Series?
The Hills Reliance XR Series is a hybrid security alarm solution designed for both residential and commercial use. It supports wired and wireless detection devices, smartphone app control, and optional back-to-base monitoring. The series includes the XR and the more advanced XRPro models.
What’s the difference between Hills XR and XRPro?
XR: 8 onboard zones (expandable to 24), up to 4 areas, 99 PIN codes, supports up to 8 codepads, requires wireless module.
XRPro: 16 onboard zones (expandable to 176), up to 8 areas, 256 PIN codes, supports up to 24 codepads, includes dual ITI wireless receivers.
Both models support the UltraSync+ smartphone app.
Can I control the system from my smartphone?
Yes. Both XR and XRPro systems work with the UltraSync+ Mobile App, allowing you to arm/disarm remotely, receive alerts, view event history, and monitor your system in real time.
Are Hills alarm systems pet-friendly?
Yes. Kits that include Optex FLX-S or Guardall GP15 detectors are pet-tolerant, designed to ignore small pet movement and reduce false alarms.
Do the systems support wireless devices?
