This basic package combines the Bosch Solution 2000 control panel and metal enclosure with a Bosch Icon Codepad. It is designed for existing wired alarm systems where suitable detectors, sirens, cabling and power components can be retained.

The Icon Codepad provides straightforward visual feedback for everyday alarm operation, while the Solution 2000 platform offers eight programmable zones, two-area partitioning and optional Bosch RSC+ smartphone connectivity.

Two-Area Alarm Control

The Bosch Solution 2000 can be divided into two separately controlled areas when professionally programmed for a compatible installation.

This can be useful for properties requiring separate arming arrangements, such as a home and garage, office and storage area, or two sections of a small business.

Designed for Existing Alarm Upgrades

This basic kit is designed to replace compatible ageing control equipment while retaining suitable existing alarm devices and power components where practical.

Before installation, the existing detectors, reed switches, sirens, tamper circuits, alarm cable, plug pack and backup battery must be tested. Components that are damaged, incompatible or no longer reliable may need to be replaced.

Optional Smartphone Control with Bosch RSC+

Add the Bosch B426-M IP Module to connect a compatible Solution 2000 alarm to the Bosch RSC+ App.

• Arm and disarm the alarm remotely
• Receive push notifications for compatible alarm events
• Check alarm-system status from your smartphone

Remote Controls and Wireless Compatibility

The Bosch Solution 2000 can support compatible RF keyfobs when fitted with the appropriate wireless receiver. This provides convenient remote arming and disarming.

The Solution 2000 does not provide the broader wireless detector expansion available with the Bosch Solution 3000. If wireless motion detectors or wireless reed switches are required, confirm the most suitable alarm platform before ordering.

Professional Installation and Compatibility

This product is available with installation only in Sydney metro areas. The alarm must be installed, programmed and matched with the existing power supply and field devices by a suitably licensed security technician.

CTC Communications will assess the existing alarm equipment and confirm which detectors, sirens, reed switches, cables, power components and accessories can be retained. Additional parts may be required if existing equipment is incompatible or no longer serviceable.
