Monitored Door and Lock Status
The FEM4300DM-BLK provides monitoring for both the magnetic lock and the door position:

LSS – Lock Status Sensor: indicates whether the magnetic lock has achieved a secure locked condition.

DSS – Door Status Sensor: indicates whether the corresponding door leaf is open or closed.

The FEM4300DM-BLK combines two electromagnetic locks within a single double-door housing. Each magnetic lock operates with its own armature plate and monitoring functions, allowing both door leaves to be secured and monitored through the access control system.
Fail-Safe Magnetic Locking
The FEM4300DM-BLK operates in fail-safe or Power To Lock mode. Power is applied to hold the doors secure, and both magnetic locks release when power is removed.
This allows the lock to be integrated with compatible access control systems, emergency exit devices and fire-alarm interfaces. Emergency egress and release requirements must be considered as part of the complete installation.
Dual-Voltage 12/24V DC Operation
Field-selectable 12V or 24V DC operation allows the lock to be used with a wide range of access control panels, intercom systems, card readers, keypads and professional power supplies.
Each magnet draws approximately 500mA at 12V DC or 250mA at 24V DC. For the complete double magnetic lock, allow approximately 1A at 12V DC or 500mA at 24V DC.
No Residual Magnetism
The FEM4300DM-BLK is designed without residual magnetism after power is removed. This helps both door leaves release cleanly following an authorised access request, emergency release or interruption to the power supply.

Fire-Rated Door Applications
The FEM4300DM-BLK has been tested for use on compatible fire-door assemblies for up to two hours in accordance with AS 1905.1:2015. Approval depends on the complete doorset, mounting method and fire-door manufacturer requirements.
Suitability must be confirmed before installing the magnetic lock on a fire-rated door.
Installation Note
The FSH FEM4300DM-BLK should be installed by a qualified security or access control technician. Door alignment, mounting brackets, power supply capacity, monitoring connections, cable protection, emergency release devices and fire-alarm integration must be confirmed during system design.
A compatible black double L&Z bracket may be required where the door and frame configuration does not support direct surface mounting.
