Guardall GP15 Pet-Immune PIR Motion Detector – 15 Metres

The Guardall GP15 is a hard-wired indoor PIR motion detector designed for reliable intrusion detection in homes and light commercial properties. It provides 15-metre, 90-degree volumetric coverage in standard mode and includes a selectable PetWise setting for suitable pet-friendly installations.

With a dual-element pyro sensor, sealed optics, digital quad-zone logic and temperature compensation, the GP15 provides dependable detection while helping reduce unwanted alarms when correctly positioned and configured.

Best For

Homes, offices, retail spaces and other indoor areas requiring an economical hard-wired PIR detector, including suitable pet-friendly environments.

Support for selectable plug-in end-of-line units
EN50131-2-2 Grade 2 compliant

Standard and PetWise Coverage

Standard mode: provides up to 15 metres of volumetric coverage across a 90-degree field of view for general indoor security applications.

PetWise mode: provides up to 10 metres of coverage across 90 degrees and is intended to reduce unwanted alarms caused by suitable pets weighing up to 35 kg.

Actual coverage depends on mounting height, detector angle, room layout, temperature conditions and correct professional installation.

Pet-Immune Detection

PetWise mode can help reduce animal-related alarms, but correct installation is essential. The detector should be positioned so pets cannot move too close to the sensor or climb into the stronger upper detection zones.

Pet weight alone does not determine performance. Room layout, furniture, stairs, mounting height and animal behaviour must also be considered. Pet immunity does not guarantee that every pet movement will be ignored.

What Is Included?

1 × Guardall GP15 hard-wired PIR motion detector

A mounting bracket, alarm cable, end-of-line accessories, control panel, backup battery and power supply are not included unless specifically shown or stated separately.

Alarm System Compatibility

The GP15 is designed for compatible hard-wired intrusion alarm control panels. It requires alarm-panel power, zone wiring and the correct end-of-line configuration. It is not a wireless detector and does not connect directly to a smartphone app.

Confirm the panel voltage, zone input requirements, resistor values and available auxiliary power before ordering. The detector may be used with selected Hills Reliance alarm systems and other compatible hard-wired alarm platforms when installed correctly.

Installation Guidance

Mount the detector in an indoor position with a clear view across the protected area. Avoid directing it towards windows, heaters, air-conditioning outlets, moving curtains or other sources of rapid temperature change.

For reliable pet performance, follow the specified mounting height and PetWise configuration, keep furniture away from the detector and complete a thorough walk test after installation.
