HiLook HA-KIT-IP2 Smartphone Video Intercom Kit
See and speak with visitors at your entrance using the HiLook HA-KIT-IP2 Smartphone Video Intercom Kit. This IP intercom package combines a 2MP outdoor door station with a 7-inch touchscreen indoor monitor and Hik-Connect mobile-app support.
When the system is correctly installed and connected to the internet, incoming intercom calls can be answered from the indoor monitor or a compatible smartphone. Users can view the visitor, hold a two-way conversation and activate a connected electric lock or gate through the configured system.
Important: Wi-Fi provides network connectivity but does not make the entire intercom installation wire-free. The monitor and door station still require suitable power, and a connected electric strike, magnetic lock or gate requires its own compatible hardware and power arrangement. Cabling, lock hardware, PoE equipment and installation labour are not included unless specifically arranged.

The kit does not include intercom cabling, network equipment, an electric strike or magnetic lock, a separate lock power supply, gate-control hardware or professional installation. Depending on the chosen design, an additional 12V power supply, PoE switch or PoE injector may be required.

How Smartphone Access Works
Remote access uses the Hik-Connect app on a compatible iOS or Android device. The intercom must first be installed, connected to a reliable internet service and correctly added to a Hik-Connect account.
- Install and configure the door station and indoor monitor.
- Connect the intercom to the property network using Ethernet or compatible 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Create or sign in to a Hik-Connect account.
- Add the intercom system to the account and enable the required call and notification settings.
- Test video calling, audio and any connected door-release function before handover.
Remote calling and notifications depend on internet availability, mobile-app permissions, network settings and the correct system configuration. Professional setup is recommended.

Electric Lock and Gate Compatibility
The HA-DS2 includes a relay output for a compatible electric locking or gate-control system. The correct design depends on whether the property uses an electric strike, magnetic lock, gate motor or another access-control device.
The lock or gate equipment may require a separate power supply, interface relay, exit button and additional cabling. These components are not included in the HA-KIT-IP2. Read our guide to choosing an electric door strike, or ask CTC Communications to confirm the required hardware.
