Vivotek IB9380-H 5MP Outdoor Bullet Camera
The Vivotek IB9380-H provides detailed outdoor video with a fixed 3.6 mm lens and up to 30 m infrared illumination. This C Series network camera combines WDR Pro, H.265 compression and Smart Stream III in an IP66-rated housing with IK10 impact protection.
It suits residential and commercial CCTV systems where a consistent view of an entrance, driveway or access path is required. Power over Ethernet carries power and network data through one cable, helping simplify a compatible wired installation.

WDR Pro and Night-Time Surveillance
WDR Pro helps preserve useful detail when sunlight and shade appear together, such as at a shopfront or covered entrance. In darkness, infrared illumination produces black-and-white video, while Smart IR helps reduce overexposure of nearby subjects.
The 30 m IR figure describes illumination range. Useful detail and identification distance depend on positioning, lighting and the size of the subject in the image.
Fixed Lens and Motion Detection
The 3.6 mm lens provides a consistent view once the camera is positioned. Select the mounting point to cover the intended area; changing the view later requires repositioning rather than optical zoom adjustment.
Five-window motion detection allows activity zones to be configured. Tune the zones and sensitivity for the scene, and confirm how your recording platform handles events and notifications.
Recording and Network Setup
Record to a suitable microSD card, compatible recorder or supported NAS system. H.265 compression and Smart Stream III help manage recording and network requirements. Retention time depends on storage capacity, video settings and recording schedules.
Connect to a compatible PoE switch, injector or recorder with sufficient power capacity. ONVIF Profiles G, S and T provide integration options, although supported features should be checked with the selected recorder or software.
