The Vivotek FD9389-EHTV-V3 delivers 5MP video at up to 30fps with AI detection and a built-in microphone. Its 2.8–12mm motorised lens offers remote focus and an adjustable 95.4°–28.7° horizontal view, while RealSight Engine and WDR Pro help retain useful detail in changing light.

AI Monitoring and Supported Search
Vision Object Analytics detects people and two- or four-wheeled vehicles, providing bestshots, paths and attributes for supported recording platforms. Configure Smart VCA rules around entrances, boundaries or restricted areas to identify relevant activity. Face detection identifies the presence of a face; it does not establish a person’s identity.
Running, parking violation and restricted zone detection require an additional licence. Confirm analytics, search compatibility and licensing with your chosen recorder or video management software.
Adjustable Coverage and Changing Light
The motorised 2.8–12mm lens lets your installer adjust framing and focus remotely, from a wider scene to a tighter entrance view. P-iris adjusts the aperture to help maintain image quality in changing light. RealSight Engine combines Smart IR III, deblur, WDR, white balance and exposure control to help manage difficult scenes. Electronic image stabilisation uses a built-in gyro sensor to reduce the effects of camera vibration.
Infrared illumination supports black-and-white night viewing up to a rated 40m. Useful identification distance depends on placement, scene lighting and image detail at the target; the IR range is not an identification distance.
Audio Recording and Optional Connections
The built-in microphone supports audio recording without an external microphone. Full-duplex two-way audio, external audio connections and alarm input/output require the optional AO-015 cable. Arrange a compatible external speaker and any other audio equipment required for your installation; the camera has no built-in speaker.

Power, Storage and Installation Requirements
Use a compatible IEEE 802.3af PoE source, suitable network cabling and recording equipment supporting the required resolution and analytics. A microSD card, AO-015 cable and mounting accessories are supplied separately. Recording retention depends on capacity, bitrate and recording schedules.
