Best For: Commercial doors, offices, retail stores, warehouses, apartment buildings and compatible access control or intercom installations
FSH FES20 High Security Electric Door Strike – Non-Monitored
Secure compatible access-controlled doors with the durable FSH FES20 High Security Electric Door Strike.
Manufactured from stainless steel and providing up to 1200kg holding strength, the FES20 is designed for demanding commercial access control applications. Its field-selectable Power to Lock and Power to Open mechanism allows the operating mode to be changed during installation without dismantling the internal locking mechanism.
This model is the non-monitored FES20. For applications requiring lock, latch and anti-tamper monitoring, consider the monitored FES20M model.

Field-Selectable Locking Operation
The FES20 features a field-interchangeable mechanism that allows the strike to be configured for either Power to Lock or Power to Open operation.
-
Power to Lock: The strike requires power to remain locked and unlocks when power is removed
-
Power to Open: The strike remains locked without power and releases when power is applied
The appropriate configuration depends on the door, access control system, emergency release requirements and applicable building regulations.
Non-Monitored Electric Strike
The FSH FES20 does not include lock, latch or anti-tamper status monitoring. It is suited to installations where the access control system only needs to operate the door strike.
For applications requiring feedback to confirm the door latch, locking mechanism or strike installation status, the fully monitored FSH FES20M should be considered.

Installation and Compatibility
The FES20 is a mortice-mounted electric strike and must be matched with the door, frame, latch, power supply and access control equipment. Correct door alignment is important for reliable locking and release.
Professional installation by a suitably qualified security or access control technician is recommended. Always confirm the required operating mode, voltage, fire-door requirements and monitoring needs before ordering.
