Key Features
- Indoor piezo alarm screamer
- High-frequency oscillating alarm tone
- Sound output of 105 dB at one metre
- 12 V DC hardwired operation
- 90 mA current draw
- Top-hat design for flush ceiling mounting
- Low-profile white finish
- Compact overall dimensions
What Is Included
- 1 × Secor WP08 top-hat piezo screamer in white
An alarm control panel, cabling, backup battery, mounting hardware, installation and other alarm accessories are not listed as included.
Alarm System Compatibility
The WP08 is suitable for compatible hardwired security alarm systems with a 12 V DC siren output capable of supporting its 90 mA current requirement. This includes supported Bosch and Risco alarm panels when correctly wired and programmed.
This device is panel-powered and cannot operate as a standalone or wireless siren. Confirm the alarm output type and total connected siren load before installation.
Flush Ceiling Installation
The top-hat housing is designed to be recessed into the ceiling, leaving the low-profile circular face visible. The listed dimensions are 43 mm high × 83 mm diameter, with a 73 mm mounting-hole diameter. Check the ceiling cavity, cable access and clearances before cutting the opening.
High-Output Internal Warning
With a stated sound pressure level of 105 dB at one metre, the WP08 provides a strong internal audible warning intended to attract attention and discourage an intruder. Avoid testing the screamer at close range and use suitable hearing protection during commissioning.
