• System design matters – Apartment intercom systems must be matched to the number of apartments, entry points, cabling and access requirements.
• Technical configuration required – Correct setup is required for reliable operation across the building.
• Not suitable for general DIY support – Due to the technical nature of these products, phone-based technical support is not available.

Common Applications

Aiphone Apartment Intercom Kits are suited to multi-residential and commercial-style entry projects where reliable visitor communication and controlled access are required.

• Apartment complexes – Multi-unit buildings requiring entry communication for residents.
• Strata buildings – Shared entry systems for residential strata properties.
• Townhouse developments – Multi-dwelling sites with a common entry point.
• Mixed-use buildings – Residential and commercial sites requiring controlled entry.
• Building upgrades – Replacement or upgrade projects for older apartment intercom systems.
• Integrator projects – Professional installation projects requiring reliable Aiphone equipment.

Door Release, Entry Control & Access Hardware

Apartment intercom systems often require door release hardware so residents, building managers or authorised users can release the main entry door or gate from the intercom system.

• Electronic door strike – Commonly used for controlled pedestrian door release.
• Maglock – Suitable for selected commercial or apartment entry doors when designed correctly.
• Gate release – Can be integrated where the building entry includes a pedestrian or vehicle gate.
• Access control integration – May be used alongside keypads, fobs, readers or other access control hardware.
• Power supply requirements – Door release hardware must be matched to correct voltage, current and fail-safe or fail-secure requirements.

Browse compatible door strikes and door locks or access control keypads to support your apartment intercom entry setup.
