The Dahua IPC-PDW3859-A180-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 8MP TiOC Panoramic Camera combines two 4MP sensors to produce a continuous 180° panoramic view. It features Smart Dual Light, red and blue warning lights, audible deterrence, SMD 4.0 human and vehicle detection, AcuPick, EPTZ target tracking and built-in two-way audio.
The Dahua IPC-PDW3859-A180-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 is an advanced dual-lens panoramic security camera designed to monitor wide entrances, driveways, forecourts, warehouses and commercial areas from a single camera position.
Two 4MP imaging sensors are combined using pixel-level image stitching to produce one detailed 8MP panoramic image with a 180-degree horizontal field of view. This provides continuous wide-area coverage without the camera needing to turn away from another part of the scene.
Wide entrances, building approaches, driveways, loading bays, forecourts, car parks and open commercial areas where one conventional fixed camera may leave significant blind spots.
The camera’s two fixed 2.8 mm lenses capture adjoining parts of the scene. Dahua’s pixel-level stitching technology combines these views into one continuous panoramic image with a 180-degree horizontal and 72-degree vertical field of view.
Unlike a mechanical PTZ camera, the IPC-PDW3859-A180-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 does not turn away from one area to view another. The entire panoramic scene remains visible, making it particularly useful for monitoring broad entrances and open areas.
Dahua TiOC technology allows the camera to do more than record an incident. Supported intelligent events can activate red and blue warning lights and an audible warning to help discourage unwanted activity.
Eleven warning sounds are included, and compatible custom audio files can also be imported. Warning volume, playback count, light duration and flash frequency can be adjusted to suit the property and installation.
Smart Dual Light combines infrared and warm-light illumination. Infrared can provide discreet monochrome monitoring, while the warm light can activate when a configured person or vehicle enters the monitored area, allowing the camera to record colour event footage.
Both the infrared and warm-light illumination ranges extend up to 30 metres, subject to the installation position, scene conditions and target reflectivity.
SMD 4.0 and perimeter protection use intelligent classification to focus on people and vehicles. Supported functions include intrusion detection, tripwire, stay detection and loitering detection.
By filtering common non-target movement, these functions can reduce unnecessary alerts caused by foliage, changing light and other general motion. AcuPick and Smart Search can also assist with finding relevant recorded events when paired with a compatible Dahua recorder.
The EPTZ function electronically enlarges and tracks targets associated with intelligent alarms within the panoramic image. This provides a closer view of the event while the full 180-degree scene continues to be recorded.
EPTZ is a digital tracking feature. The camera does not mechanically pan, tilt or provide optical zoom.
Dual built-in microphones capture audio from the monitored area, while the integrated speaker system supports live talk-back and audible deterrence. The camera also includes separate audio input and output connections for compatible external equipment.
