Outdoor Protection and Installation
The 316L stainless-steel front panel and wide operating-temperature range make this door station suitable for demanding outdoor entrances. It supports surface mounting and may be used with a suitable flush-mount arrangement where the correct installation accessories are selected.

Power and Two-Wire HD Compatibility
The DS-KV7023EY-IME2 receives 48 VDC power through a compatible DS-KAD7060EY distributor or can use a suitable local 12 VDC supply. The correct power method depends on the system topology, cable route, connected devices and installation design.

Door and Gate Hardware
The two lock-control outputs can support a compatible electric strike, magnetic lock, gate controller or dual-entry arrangement. All locking equipment and power supplies must be selected for the required voltage, current and fail-safe or fail-secure operation.
