FSH FES10M Electric Door Strike – Monitored DSS, 1000kg, ANSI Footprint, 12/24V DC
Control and monitor compatible access-controlled doors with the compact FSH FES10M Electric Door Strike.
Designed for residential and light-commercial installations, the FES10M provides up to 1000kg holding strength, dual 12V or 24V DC operation and integrated door/latch status monitoring. Its compact ANSI footprint makes it suitable for compatible door frames where installation space may be limited.
The field-selectable Power to Lock and Power to Open mechanism allows the operating function to be configured during installation without replacing the strike.

Door and Latch Status Monitoring
The FES10M includes a Door Status Sensor (DSS) that monitors whether the door latch is engaged within the strike keeper.
This output allows compatible access control equipment to receive door or latch status feedback. It can help identify whether the door has returned to its closed position after access has been granted.
Important: The FES10M provides door/latch status monitoring. It does not provide the lock-status and anti-tamper monitoring available with fully monitored models such as the FES20M.
Field-Selectable Fail-Safe or Fail-Secure Operation
The FES10M uses a reversible barbell mechanism that allows its locking function to be changed during installation.
-
Power to Lock: The strike requires power to remain locked and unlocks when power is removed
-
Power to Open: The strike remains locked without power and releases when power is applied
The correct operating mode depends on the door, access control design, emergency-release requirements and applicable building regulations.
