High Pre-Load Capability
Door pressure caused by seals, misalignment, wind or people pushing against a door can prevent conventional electric strikes from releasing correctly. The FES90M-P is designed to unlock under up to 35kg of pre-load or side-load, helping provide dependable access in challenging door conditions.
Dual Lock and Door Monitoring
The electric strike provides two forms of monitoring for integration with compatible access control systems:

Lock Status Sensor (LSS): Monitors the status of the internal locking mechanism

Door Status Sensor (DSS): Detects whether the door latch is engaged within the strike keeper
These monitoring outputs can help an access control system identify whether the door is properly closed and whether the locking mechanism is engaged.
Flexible Power Configuration
The FES90M-P accepts a wide 10–30V DC input, making it suitable for a range of compatible access control power supplies. Its operating function can be changed in the field between Power to Lock and Power to Open to suit the required locking configuration.

The higher current is used only during the locking or unlocking action. Once the strike reaches its locked or unlocked resting state, it returns to its low-current sleep mode.

Fire-Rated Door Applications
The FES90M-P may be suitable for door assemblies requiring a fire rating of up to four hours in accordance with AS 1905.1:2015. Fire-rating suitability depends on the complete door and frame assembly. Confirmation should be obtained from the manufacturer or relevant door certification before installation.
Installation and Compatibility
The FSH FES90M-P is a mortice-mounted electric strike supplied with a standard 10mm lip. Compatible extension lips and a stainless-steel rebate kit are available separately for installations requiring a different frame configuration.
Professional installation is recommended. The electric strike must be matched with the door, frame, latch, access controller and power supply to ensure correct operation and compliance.
