Why Use a 75mm Extension Lip?
Some door frames extend significantly beyond the standard electric strike faceplate. Without a sufficiently long lip, the door latch can rub against the frame, catch during operation or damage the surrounding surface.
The FES10-EL75 provides a 75mm extension, making it suitable for deeper frame profiles where a 15mm, 25mm or 50mm extension may not provide enough coverage.

Selecting the Correct Extension Length
FSH extension lips are available in different lengths to accommodate various door-frame profiles. Measure the distance between the electric strike faceplate and the outside edge of the frame before ordering.
The FES10-EL75 is the longest commonly listed extension for the FES10 Series and is intended for installations requiring substantial additional coverage. A shorter 15mm, 25mm or 50mm extension may provide a better fit on shallower frames.
Installation Note
The extension lip should be securely attached to the pre-drilled mounting points on the compatible FES10 or FES10M electric strike. Once installed, the door latch should enter the keeper freely without rubbing, binding or placing sideways pressure on the strike mechanism.
