Motorised Varifocal Lens for Flexible Camera Coverage

A major advantage of this Dahua CCTV kit is the 2.7–13.5mm motorised varifocal lens. Instead of being limited to one fixed viewing angle, each camera can be adjusted to provide a wider overview or a tighter view of an important area.

This makes the cameras particularly useful for locations such as:

• Driveways and vehicle entrances
• Front doors and building entrances
• Side access areas
• Garages
• Shopfronts
• Car parks
• Longer yards and property boundaries

Intelligent Human and Vehicle Detection

Dahua SMD 4.0 technology helps distinguish people and vehicles from other movement within monitored areas, providing more relevant security events and reducing unnecessary motion notifications.

• Human classification
• Vehicle classification
• Reduced nuisance motion alerts
• Improved event accuracy
• Easier review of relevant recorded events

40m Infrared Night Surveillance

Integrated infrared illumination provides night monitoring at distances of up to 40 metres, allowing the cameras to continue capturing useful surveillance footage when ambient lighting is limited.

This makes the cameras suitable for areas such as driveways, side access points, rear yards and building entrances that still require security coverage after dark.
