Kocom Intercom Kits – Reliable Video Entry Systems for Homes & Businesses

Kocom is a leading manufacturer of intercom systems, offering a wide range of intercom kits designed for residential, commercial and selected industrial applications.

Kocom intercom kits typically include the core components required for a complete entry communication system, such as audio or video door stations, internal monitor stations, power supply units and supporting wiring components.

Kocom Intercom Kit Options

Kocom intercom kits are suitable for homes, offices, small businesses, gates and controlled entry points where clear visitor communication and secure access control are required.

• Residential intercom kits – Ideal for front doors, gates, units and family homes.
• Commercial intercom kits – Suitable for small offices, reception entries and controlled staff access points.
• Video intercom kits – Allow users to view and speak with visitors before granting entry.
• 2-wire and 4-wire configurations – Choose the wiring type that suits the property and installation requirements.
• Door release support – Compatible kits can release an electronic door strike, latch or gate when installed correctly.

Kocom Intercom Monitors & Picture Memory

Choose from a selection of Kocom monitor options, including compact 3.5" displays and larger 7" monitors, with selected models available in modern mirror-finish styles.

• 3.5" monitor options – Compact internal monitor solutions for simple entry communication.
• 7" monitor options – Larger viewing screens for clearer visitor identification.
• Mirror-finish styles – A modern look for homes and offices where appearance matters.
• Smartphone viewing – Selected Kocom kits support smartphone viewing for added convenience.
• Internal monitor control – Answer visitor calls and release compatible door hardware from the monitor.

Picture Memory Function

The Picture Memory function works by taking an image of the visitor at your door station and displaying it on the internal monitor until the image is cleared. This provides an added layer of awareness for households and businesses wanting to see who has called at the door.

Hard-Wired Kocom Monitors, 2-Wire & 4-Wire Cabling

Kocom door stations are hard-wired to the monitor station, with cabling requirements depending on the model and configuration. Kits are available in both 4-wire and 2-wire configurations.

• Category cabling – Selected Kocom systems may use Cat 5e-style cabling, depending on the configuration.
• Security cable Fig 8 – Used in selected intercom and door release wiring applications.
• 2-wire configuration – Useful where a simpler two-wire setup is supported by the kit.
• 4-wire configuration – Suitable for compatible hard-wired Kocom video intercom kits.
• Professional installation recommended – Cabling, power and lock release hardware should be checked before installation.

Electronic Unlocking, Door Strikes & Keypad Entry

Kocom intercom kits with an unlock function require compatible electronic locking hardware at the door, gate or entry point. An electronic door strike is a practical solution for releasing a compatible door or gate from the Kocom monitor.

• Electronic door strike – Used to release compatible doors from the intercom monitor.
• Electronic latch – Suitable for selected gate and door applications depending on hardware compatibility.
• Gate release – Allows compatible gates to be released when connected correctly.
• Monitor unlock button – Kocom monitor stations can activate compatible release hardware where supported.
• Keypad entry – Add a compatible keypad to provide PIN-code access at external gates, front doors or staff entry points.
