ColorVu and HikAI-ISP Imaging
A large 1/1.8-inch sensor and F1.0 lens make use of available light for colour imaging in low-light scenes. HikAI-ISP processing helps reduce image noise, while 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR helps balance bright and shaded areas. Colour footage in complete darkness requires the camera’s white illumination or another visible light source.
Smart Hybrid Light with 40m Illumination
Choose infrared illumination for black-and-white night footage, white light for colour footage, or smart mode to change the lighting response around supported target events. In smart mode, the camera can switch from IR to white light when a person or vehicle is detected, subject to configuration. IR and white-light illumination reach up to 40m; useful image detail depends on the scene, target distance and installation.
Human and Vehicle Detection
Deep-learning classification supports human and vehicle filtering for motion detection and perimeter events. Configure line crossing, intrusion, region entrance or region exiting rules for the area being monitored. Target filtering helps reduce notifications from unrelated movement, with performance depending on positioning, lighting and detection settings.
White Strobe and Audible Warning
The /SL version includes a white flashing warning light and a built-in speaker for audible alarms. Configure supported events and schedules to trigger a warning at the camera. Warning strobe operation is separate from the supplemental white lighting used for colour video. Red and blue warning lights are available on the separate /SRB model.
Dual Microphones and Two-Way Audio
The arrayed dual microphones capture audio alongside video, with noise filtering supported. A built-in speaker enables two-way communication through compatible software and equipment. It is rated at up to 2W, with a maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB measured at 10cm. Audio and warning functions depend on system configuration.
Recording and Hik-Connect Remote Access
Connect to a compatible Hikvision network video recorder for central recording, playback and storage management. The camera also accepts microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC cards up to 512GB for on-board storage. Storage media are sold separately. Hik-Connect supports remote viewing and supported event notifications once internet access and the system are configured. Recording time depends on bitrate, storage capacity and recording schedules.
Outdoor Housing and Anti-Corrosion Protection
The metal housing is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance and NEMA 4X for anti-corrosion protection. Hikvision classifies this model as offering moderate anti-corrosion protection. Assess the environment and mounting position for exposed coastal or industrial sites, and protect cable connections during installation.
PoE+ Power and System Compatibility
Supply power through IEEE 802.3at Class 4 PoE+ or a suitable 12V DC power supply. Maximum consumption is 18W on PoE+ or 15W on DC. Confirm the NVR or switch supports PoE+ at each required port and has enough total power capacity. Check recorder support for 6MP resolution, H.265+, audio and event functions before choosing equipment.
