How Smart Hybrid Light Works
Hikvision Smart Hybrid Light provides three supplementary lighting options on compatible cameras:
- Infrared Mode – uses IR illumination for discreet black-and-white night vision.
- White Light Mode – uses white supplementary light to maintain colour imaging in very dark conditions.
- Smart Mode – normally operates using infrared and can activate white light when a supported event is detected.
This allows the system to balance discreet night monitoring with the ability to capture colour detail when it matters.
