The Hikvision DS-2CD2087G3-LI2UY/SL combines a 2.8mm fixed lens, 8MP 4K imaging, ColorVu, HikAI-ISP processing and Smart Hybrid Light in a compact outdoor bullet camera. Human and vehicle classification helps focus event alerts, while dual microphones, a speaker and a white warning strobe support audio communication and active deterrence.

ColorVu and HikAI-ISP
A 1/1.8-inch sensor and F1.0 optics use available light for colour imaging in low-light scenes. HikAI-ISP helps reduce noise, and 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR helps balance bright and shaded areas. In complete darkness, colour footage needs supplemental white light or another visible light source.
40m Smart Hybrid Light
Choose IR illumination for black-and-white night footage, white light for colour footage, or smart mode for an event-based lighting response. When configured, smart mode can switch from IR to white light around supported human or vehicle detections. Colour footage in complete darkness requires white illumination or another visible light source. Useful image detail depends on target distance and installation. Both IR and white-light illumination are specified up to 40m.
Human and Vehicle Detection
Human and vehicle classification supports target filtering for motion and perimeter events. Configure line crossing, intrusion, region entrance or region exiting rules to match the monitored area. Filtering helps reduce alerts from unrelated movement, with results depending on positioning, lighting, scene conditions and settings.
Active Deterrence and Two-Way Audio
The /SL version has a white flashing warning light and audible alarm. Configure supported events and schedules for warnings at the camera. Arrayed dual microphones and a speaker support two-way communication through compatible software. The warning strobe operates separately from the white light used to illuminate colour video.
Recording and Hik-Connect
Use a compatible Hikvision network video recorder for central recording and playback. A microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC card up to 512GB provides an on-board recording option. Storage media are sold separately. Hik-Connect supports remote viewing and supported event notifications once internet access and the system are configured. Recording duration depends on bitrate, capacity and schedules.
Lens Selection
This camera is supplied with a 2.8mm F1.0 fixed lens, providing a 108.8° horizontal, 56.4° vertical and 134.3° diagonal field of view. Its wide coverage suits entrances, driveways and general outdoor surveillance.
Outdoor Housing and PoE+
The metal housing is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, with moderate anti-corrosion protection as classified by Hikvision. Protect cable connections and assess site exposure. Power requires IEEE 802.3at Class 4 PoE+, maximum 18W, or a suitable 12V DC supply, maximum 15W. Check each port’s PoE+ support and the total power budget.
