Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2H-IU 8MP 4K AcuSense Turret Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2H-IU is an 8MP / 4K AcuSense fixed turret network camera designed for detailed day-and-night surveillance with intelligent event detection. It combines Powered-by-DarkFighter low-light imaging, 120dB WDR, human and vehicle classification, a built-in microphone, H.265+ compression and IR illumination up to 30 metres in an IP67-rated housing.

CTC Communications currently stocks White 2.8mm, White 4mm and Black 2.8mm variants, allowing the camera to be matched to wider general coverage or a slightly tighter field of view.

Key Features of the DS-2CD2386G2H-IU

8MP / 4K resolution up to 3840 × 2160
Powered-by-DarkFighter for improved low-light imaging
AcuSense human and vehicle classification based on deep learning
120dB WDR for scenes with strong backlighting
Built-in microphone for real-time audio capture
IR night vision up to 30m
H.265+ compression for more efficient storage and bandwidth use
On-board microSD storage up to 512GB
IP67 weather protection

AcuSense Human & Vehicle Classification

Hikvision AcuSense uses deep-learning algorithms to distinguish people and vehicles from other movement in the scene. This helps reduce unnecessary alerts caused by environmental motion and makes recorded event searches more useful when the camera is paired with a compatible Hikvision recorder.

Powered-by-DarkFighter Low-Light Imaging

The DS-2CD2386G2H-IU uses a 1/1.8-inch sensor and F1.0 aperture to support strong low-light performance. This helps retain more useful detail in dim scenes before the camera transitions to infrared night viewing.

Built-in Microphone for Added Context

The integrated microphone adds audio to recorded video, providing extra context around entrances, shopfronts, reception areas and other monitored spaces. Audio recording should be configured and used in accordance with applicable privacy and workplace requirements.

4K Detail with 120dB WDR

The 8MP sensor captures detailed 4K footage for stronger identification and incident review. 120dB WDR helps balance bright and dark areas in the same scene, which is especially useful around doorways, driveways, shopfronts and loading areas.

Ideal Applications

home entrances, driveways and side access
retail stores and shopfronts
offices and reception areas
car parks and apartment common areas
warehouses and loading areas
commercial-building entrances and external walkways
